Working at Edisoft: Enabling Successful Partnerships

Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new year 2012!

I am excited to let you know that I recently joined the Edisoft Sales Team and am focused on our business partnerships within the Sage Accpac Channel.  I have been in a Sales role with a number of successful software companies for 16 years. One of my goals through this blog is to raise awareness of Edisoft and why it continues to be the leading choice for integrated EDI solutions within the Sage community. As I have learned over the past few months Edisoft’s end to end integrated EDI solutions have saved thousands of customers money and improved staff productivity across diverse vertical industries such as Apparel, Food and Beverage, Automotive, Electronics, Consumer Goods and Logistics Service Providers (3PLs).

Over the past few months I have spoken with many Sage Accpac ERP channel partners about the challenges they face and how Edisoft can help them solve them.  One major challenge I have heard repeatedly is managing the complexity and cost of integrating 3rd party vendor solutions with their client’s Sage ERP systems and how to reduce software customization costs.

It is an exciting time to be part of the team as Edisoft has been specializing in seamless end to end integration in partnership with such companies as Batchmaster for Food Processing, Accellos for Warehouse Management, Iciniti for webstores, as well as, both Linxship and Starship for Carrier Management solutions over the past few years. When I talk with Accpac Partners about Edisoft as a successful Solutions Provider and describe our areas of expertise, and how we can provide them assistance with integrated solutions to deliver the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) in the industry for an integrated EDI solution- that is when they better understand the value we can bring to their Sage clients! In this blog I have included what a few of the many dedicated Edisoft partners have been up to from all corners of North America.

Joe Powers of Powers Business Systems in Illinois has endorsed Edisoft’s approach to an integrated EDI/WMS solution and has won approval for its proposal of the integrated Edisoft –Accellos Adapter for Warehouse Automation with his customer.  e2e Solutions in British Columbia has successfully implemented our Edisoft – Visual ASN Adapter for Accellos WMS.  This solution has allowed the end customer- Maddies Natural Pet Products Ltd to streamline their Order Fulfillment for non EDI orders, and EDI orders alike and allowed them to move away from costly customizations. A webinar is now scheduled with Maddies Natural Pet Products for February 23rd at 2 PM EST. Be sure to mark your calendars for this event!

BMD Gestion Informatisée Inc. in Quebec Canada which has a long and successful track record of selling and implementing Warehouse solutions within the Sage community is actively selling Warehouse Optimization and Warehouse Automation solutions from Edisoft to their customers.   Rainer Zimmerman Director of Sales at BMD says: “We depend on Edisoft’s expertise to solve the challenges faced by our customers who trade with big box retailers such as Home Depot, Rona, Wal-Mart and many others.  Edisoft has optimized their entire portfolio of solutions to integrate with Sage Accpac ERP, whether it’s their translation engine, or their 3PL solution module, Edisoft offers the best solution at the right price.  Edisoft helps us keep transaction costs down with our customers, mitigate integration risk with other 3rd party applications such as Accellos WMS and has a proven track record of making upgrades for Sage dealers an easy process. I highly recommend Edisoft as an EDI partner for other Sage Accpac partners.”

I look forward to sharing more about what Edisoft and its partners are up to in my next blog!
