OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITY

 

The goals of this role are to provide solutions to our customers to automate their EDI, shipping and warehousing processes with our smart application technologies with the purpose of engaging and retaining customer relationships. The Solutions Consultant will uncover, organize and prioritize opportunities to solve supply chain challenges while automating and optimizing our customers’ business processes. This may include: suggesting software upgrades, assessing the need for VAN services or any opportunities to promote additional functionality. The role is also accountable for the relationship maintenance and ongoing satisfaction with Edisoft’s products and services. As technical and product proficiency increases, the Solutions Consultant may be called upon to provide insight as it relates to the delivery and configuration of our software.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Solutions and Consulting Accountabilities

  • Support the design of solutions that optimize the business workflows for efficiency and profitability using a consultative approach to understanding business and technological considerations
  • Manage and track all assigned customer service and solutions activities on a timetable, follow up with customers where necessary and report on a timely basis to team members and management
  • Respond to incoming requests, creates and executes on a plan to reach out to our existing customer base for the purposes of relationship management and promoting Edisoft’s products to automate and optimize to drive efficiencies in their supply chain

 

Software Demonstration Accountabilities

  • In sales demonstrations, demonstrate the technical functions and features by assisting in the creation of Storyboards, and Software Demonstrations in ways that clearly demonstrate Edisoft’s product suite as a Smart Supply Chain Application Platform
  • Assist Sales in creating tools (i.e.: Solutions Diagrams, Software Demonstrations, ROI tables) to inform customers of the value of Edisoft’s products and services
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating promotion campaigns to existing customers

 

Customer Success Accountabilities

  • Consistently improves customer service, perception, and satisfaction
  • Proactively communicates  Edisoft’s smart process technology capabilities with customers, keeping them informed of incident progress and project status
  • Promotes Edisoft and 3rd party products and services including software upgrades and the addition of VAN services that fulfill the customer’s requirements
  • Ensure that customers have visibility into the status of their projects and requests at all times and that communication with them occurs in a timely manner
  • Pre-sales and post-implementation consistently schedules and provides follow-up with customers to ensure that a high quality of service was delivered and the software implemented is functioning to deliver the results agreed upon in the Statement of Work
  • Collaborates with members across the organization to problem solve and service our customers. For example provide insight to product enhancements, consulting engagements for customers, and designs for new/beta solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Skills Needed:

  • Operating systems – Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10. Windows  Server versions 2008, 2012
  • Networking knowledge-LAN with an understanding of both logical and physical network segments, Citrix or terminal services, FTP, VMWare, RDP, TCP/IP, Ethernet ports/connections, Ethernet equipment such as: routers, basic workstation security and firewall needs, and some familiarity with the OSI model
  • Hardware knowledge –Servers, PC Workstations, Motorola/Symbol handheld bar code devices, Windows Mobile tablets, Apple devices
  • Applications - ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning)/Accounting systems, CRM (Client Resource Planning), Business Intelligence (BI), MRP (Materials Resource Planning)
  • Databases – MS SQL, Oracle, Relational Databases
  • Technology standards and application development – Familiar with  flat file transfer, ODBC integration, other forms of integration between applications
  • Proven system integration and server/data migration experience
