A unique Order Packing and Shipping solution called Visual ASN was developed with the vision of creating linear workflow built on “best practices” learned across multiple vertical industries, automated packing rules and the capability to print labels and packing slips in one complete package with integration to ERP and Transport Management System TMS applications. Unlike most warehouse solutions that focused on streamlining activities associated with inventory management, Edisoft saw an equally important need to streamline and optimize the picking, packing and shipment of goods.

 

Visual ASN’s flexibility allows it to function as a standalone (Visual ASN Enterprise) version or it can be configured to receive orders and create shipments using order data it retrieves from an EDI application such as Edisoft Merchant Flex (Visual ASN for Merchant Flex) version or an accounting system such as Sage ERP Accpac 100/200/500 and Sage ERP MAS 90/200 i.e. (Visual ASN for Sage ERP Accpac 100/200/500 and Visual ASN for Sage ERP MAS 90/200) versions respectively. Integration is achieved directly from data populating the Visual ASN tables in its database via API integration with the ERP, from a flat file or from an XML file resulting in data that can be translated into an ASN document completing the order fulfillment cycle.
